Mary Louise Baribeault
OXFORD – Mary Louise Baribeault, 74, died Friday, June 28, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Dover, New Hampshire, on April 18, 1950, the daughter of Arthur and Doris (Minnon) Portrie. Mary Attended Holy Rosary and graduated from Spaulding High School. Mary also attended hairdressing school. On Nov. 22, 1969, she married Robert J. Baribeault. Mary worked as a Patient Service Representative at doctors and dental offices.
Mary loved the beach, especially Wells Beach. She loved spending time with her family and friends and also enjoyed supporting Robert and his love for drag racing. She worked at New England Dragway for a short time and managed Oxford Dragway for several years.
Mary is survived by her daughter Leslie Nichols and her husband Kevin of Oxford; Grandchildren Morgan Nichols and Naomi Nichols ; Sister Sylvia Ward of Rochester, N.H.; nieces, Lisa Desmarais and her husband Tim Morgan of Rochester, N.H.; Nancy Carignan and her husband Mike of Rochester, N.H.; nephew Robert Gagnon of Berwick.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert; her parents, Arthur and Doris (Minnon) Portrie; her sister Carol Gagnon; brother Norman Portrie; and brother-in-law Arthur Gagnon of Rochester, N.H.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday July 20, 2024, at Oxford Hills Funeral Service, 1037 Main Street, Oxford. Following the funeral we invite you to gather for a reception at the American Legion Post #150, 41 Elm Street, Mechanic Falls, ME.
