Cole Bailey Dehetre
SOUTH PARIS – Cole Bailey Dehetre, 14, passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2024.
He was born in Norway, Dec. 20, 2009, the son of Stephen Dehetre and Renee Leland. Cole struggled with Rheumatoid arthritis for the majority of his life, but that did not stop him from being one of the kindest souls you’d ever meet. Everywhere he went he made lifelong friends, he was loved by many.
Cole was his dad’s everything, his whole world, the light to his darkness, his best friend. He meant everything and more to his father, they were two peas in a pod, couldn’t be separated for anything. Cole was the other half that made his father whole. He will be forever loved and missed.
He is survived by his mother and father, his siblings, Kiera, Joaquin, Wyatt and Henry; maternal grandfather David Leland, paternal grandfather Donald Hodgkin, great-grandparents, Merton Hodgkin, Virginia Larrabee, Aline Bragdon, James Keen and Rebecca Keen.
Cole was predeceased by a brother James and grandmothers Leslie Thomas and Brenda Dehetre.
Family and friends may attend funeral services on Saturday, July 20, at 2 p.m., at the Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 45 Main Street, South Paris. Online messages and condolences may be left for his family at http://www.chandlerfunerals.com.
