LEWISTON – Robert L. Bussiere, 64, of Lewiston passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 15, 2024, at his home.

He was born on Aug. 6, 1959, in Hartford, Conn., a son of the late Lionel N. and Inez (Levesque) Bussiere. Bob grew up in Lewiston, attending local area schools and graduated from Lewiston High School. After high school Bob went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

He was a longtime employee of Marden’s in Lewiston Warehouse, he was planning on retiring on Friday, August 9 of this year.

In his younger years he was an athlete, competing in local races for running and biking. As he aged, he became an avid walker and could be seen all over Lewiston. He also was a collector of all things.

He is survived by his siblings, Deborah Robitaille and her husband James of Lewiston, Linda Bellmore of Auburn, Paul Pelletier of Lewiston, Nelson, Donald, Tina and Junior Bussiere. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 6 – 8 p.m., at Pinette, Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 20, 11 a.m., at St. Peters Cemetery, 217 Switzerland Road, Lewiston.
