I strongly support Peggy Rotundo’s reelection as state senator from Lewiston.
From her years on the Lewiston School Committee to her current term in the Senate, Peggy has dedicated her skills, energy and sense of fairness to addressing the needs of Lewiston and Maine.
Peggy’s record of accomplishments as Lewiston’s senator this year alone is broad and too extensive to list here. In response to the Oct. 25 shooting, Peggy worked successfully for a $5 million fund supporting health care needs of survivors of the shooting and victims of other violent crimes. At the same time she led successful efforts to save St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center’s behavioral health program and Tri-County Mental Health Services, both essential to our communities.
In another area important to our city, she sponsored successful legislation to protect Lake Auburn’s watershed.
Lewiston needs Peggy Rotundo. There is no one better to serve as Lewiston’s state senator.
Judy Head, Lewiston
