Hot dog vendors in all sections of Lewiston were ordered from Lewiston streets Monday when the license committee of the Lewiston city government refused to grant them permits to operate. As a result all available places in various sections of Lewiston are being sought by the vendors of frankforts and rolls to open stands.
Alderman Jolicoeur, one of the members of the license committee, stated Wednesday that for a long time such vendors had been a nuisance, setting up their carts in all sections of the city, many of them located in front of restaurants, and lunch rooms. He said the vendors were not satisfied in selling hot dogs but went so far as to have soft drinks, candy, etc. in their little wagons.

Quebec province has 1,000 more breast and prostate cancer patients than its hospitals can handle so it wanted to ship patients to the United States for faster treatment.
“We chose CMMC to participate because they have the technology, French speaking employees and were sensitive to our unique needs,” Fortin said.
