To the Editor:

We are lucky here in the 81st District to have such a strong candidate for State Representative: Joan Beal. Joan is a good Mainer, a person with lots of experience on a lot of different fronts: mother (including foster mother), caregiver, and teacher, as well as donating lots of time to local organizations like Norway Landmarks Preservation and the Norway Budget Committee, and getting right down to it with public gardens.

She’s a good listener, good at hearing what people need and figuring out the best way to help them. She cares deeply about our area, and about Maine. Please vote for Joan Beal in November.
