WOODSTOCK – David B. Kennison Sr., 76, of Woodstock passed away at his home on Friday, July 26, 2024.
David was born in Rumford on Oct. 25, 1947, the son of Kenneth James and Theresa Kennison. He had been an outdoorsman and logger for most of his life. He enjoyed all of the natural wildlife.
David is survived by his wife Anita (Austin) Kennison; son David Jr. and his partner Janna; three grandsons, Caleb, Nicholas and Joshua; a granddaughter Jamie Leigh Kilponen; two great-grandsons, Noah and Levi; brothers, Kenneth (Jamie and Donna), Dooley, Arnie (Kim), Ralph, Peter, and Herbert (Sherry); sisters, Helen (Leo), Avis, Loretta and Anna (Rick); many cousins, nephews and friends; and one grief-stricken dog, Penny Lynn.
He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Leroy and Jeffrey; sister Nancy; and daughter Michelle.
At his request, there will be no services. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Norway. A celebration of life in David’s honor will be held at a later date.
