Lise Stewart
OXFORD – Lise was born on Oct. 19, 1961, in Lewiston. She passed away peacefully at home, age 62, on July 10, 2024, with her family by her side in Oxford, after her courageous battle with Breast Cancer. The daughter of Jacques and Colette Cyr.
Lise, a kind, gentle soul who loved everyone and surrounded herself with family and friends. She always lend a helping hand. Lise was the hostess with the mostest. She enjoyed camping at her favorite place– Hermit Island, gardening, flowers, cooking and winter sports. Lise was an avid music lover with a special place in her heart for Big Head Todd.
She wanted all her family and friends to know how very thankful she is for them. “Let bygones be bygones and let’s all be kind to one another.”
Lise was preceded by her father Jacques Cyr, step brother Roger Cyr, stepsister Nancy Cyr and nephew Jason Cyr.
Lise is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Richard Stewart. Daughter Beth Stewart, husband Sameh Abdelshahed. Daughter Lindsey Stewart, husband Wouter Bruneel. Grandchildren Hana, Liam, Felix, Quinten. Mother Colette Cyr. Brothers Jacques Cyr, Andrew Cyr, Reggie Cyr, Bill Cyr, Sister Melanie Cyr. Step brothers Jim Cyr, Tom Cyr. Several beloved nieces, nephews and their children.
