Whether Donald Trump wins, Republican plans are an assault on the “Deep State,” identified as tens of thousands of federal civil service workers who they plan to replace with Trump appointees such as those in the Department of Justice. And fire at will.
Trump’s plan to massively expand his power is detailed online, in Agenda47. It overlaps Project 2025, the presidential transition project, published by the Heritage Foundation.
The assault began when Trump appointed three right-wingers to the U.S. Supreme Court who have since ruled Trump is immune from prosecution of any crime deemed an “official act.”
Federal agencies threatened to be abolished include the Department of Education, Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Communications Commission, and the Federal Trade Commission, along with several others.
Veterans care and retirees’ disability payments may be reduced.
Plans include more corporate tax cuts, increased tariffs which will increases consumer prices, flying cars, and tent cities for the homeless.
