Gerard P. “Gerry” Levesque
AUBURN – Gerard P. “Gerry” Levesque, 73, of Jay, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, at Andwell Hospice House in Auburn, with his loving wife and family by his side. Gerry put up a good fight for 4 years with esophageal cancer. He was born September 16, 1950, in Lewiston, the son of Lawrence and Irene (Cote) Levesque. He attended school in Lewiston and Farmington. He proudly served as LCpl. Gerard P. Levesque in the U.S. Marine Corp during Vietnam. On August 16, 2006, in Florida, he married Diane Moreau of Jay. Gerry worked driving school buses in Lewiston and Auburn and later owned and operated Affordable Lawn Care for several years. He loved going fishing, riding his motorcycle and ATV. He loved to play cards with lots of his friends. He was loved by many people. Always the jokester in anything he did. He is survived by his loving wife Diane Levesque of Jay, his brother Lionel Levesque and wife Kathy of Monmouth, his son Todd Miller of Monmouth, granddaughters Mady, Ari, Evie and Bella, sister-in-law Karen Dalot and husband Bob of Jay, their children, Brian and Samantha, special great-nephew, Carson Dalot of Jay, and father-in-law, Richard Moreau and wife Kim of Jay. A graveside service with military honors will be held 12 p.m., Monday, August 12, at Maine Veterans Cemetery, 143 Blue Star Ave., Augusta, Maine. Arrangements by FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Andwell Hospice, 236 Stetson Road, Auburn, Maine 04210 for the purchase of hand casting kits in Memory of Gerard Levesque.
