Larry E. Jordan
AUBURN – Larry E. Jordan, 89, a resident of Leeds, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 1, 2024, at Clover Health Care. He was born Feb. 14, 1935, in Turner, the son of Stanley and Rowena (McLaughlin) Jordan. Larry attended schools in Turner and graduated from Leavitt Institute in 1953.Larry was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers, Local 17, Lewiston, Maine. He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and being outdoors. He also enjoyed woodworking, having built his own house in his early 20’s. He was a member of the Snowmobile Club in Turner and Eustis and a member of the Maine Chapter of The Rocky Mountain Elk Club. He is survived by his wife Nancy Allen Nazaroff Jordan of 43 years and his three children, Mark (Heidi) Jordan of New Gloucester, Bonnie (Vince) Pelletier of Biddeford, and Lori (Jeff) Makowski of New Jersey and two stepsons, Donald & Gregory Nazaroff of Greene, five grandchildren, Travis and Ryan Jordan, Danielle and Christopher Caron, and Scott Nazaroff, nine great grandchildren, his sister Shirley Nabonzy of Arizona, his two brothers, Gary Jordan of Florida, Dan Jordan of Turner and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, his two sisters, Beverly Youland, Brenda Harrington and his brother Wayne Jordan. Messages of condolence may be sent to: http://www.finleyfunerahome.com.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., on Wednesday, August 14, at the Quaker Ridge Cemetery, Jordan Road, Leeds, Maine. Arrangements by BRAGDON FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main Street, Monmouth.
