Joy Louise Rossignol
AUBURN – Joy Louise Rossignol, 81, of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024.
She was born on Sept. 22, 1942, a daughter to Charles and Louise (King) Andrews. She was born in Worcester, Mass. and attended local schools. The family then moved to Florida where she graduated from South Broward High School in Hollywood, Fla.
Joy settled in Maine where she met her husband, John Rossignol. The pair were happily married for 62 years.
In her working years, Joy was a long time employee of the Verrill and Dana Law Firm in Portland.
Joy was predeceased by her parents; and her brother, Jeffrey Andrews.
Joy is survived by her husband, John; her children John Rossignol (Susan) and Joni O’Malley (Brian); as well as her brothers Charles (Mona) Andrews and Thomas (Beverly) Andrews. She leaves behind her grandchildren Conor O’Malley and his fiance Kelly Henry, Shannon O’Malley and her significant other, Drew Lorinchak, Adele Rossignol and her significant other, Logan Clasby and Evan Rossignol; as well as many nieces and nephews; and her late brother, Jeffrey’s wife, Purita Andrews.
Per the family’s request, services will be private.
Arrangements are under the care of Pinette, Dillingham and Lynch, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway.
