LEWISTON — Mayor Carl Sheline and city officials are asking residents, businesses and organizations to attend a public meeting Thursday geared toward finding the city’s next city administrator.
The meeting’s purpose is to gather community input on city issues and challenges, and determine what qualities the city’s next city administrator should possess for the job, city spokesperson Angelynne Amores said in a Tuesday press release.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday in the city hall council chambers at 27 Pine St.
Don Gerrish from Eaton Peabody Consulting Group will lead the meeting, presenting an overview of the selection process, Amores said.
“The Mayor and City Council encourage participation in this meeting for all who would like to express their opinions on this important community process,” said Amores.
Those unable to attend should email their thoughts to Gerrish at [email protected].
