Robert Laurier Bilodeau

LEWISTON – Robert Laurier Bilodeau, 83, of Lewiston, passed away at home on Aug. 6, 2024 with his loving wife and children by his side.

Robert was born on March 1, 1941, to Loretta Benoit and Joseph Bilodeau in Lewison. Robert attended Edward Little High School, graduating in 1960. After high school, Robert worked at Belgrade Shoe before he was drafted into the Army in 1963, serving two years active duty and four years reserves. Robert was also a dedicated employee at Falcon Shoe until his retirement.

In 1967, Robert married the love of is life, Anne M. Caron. Robert and Anne went on to have three children, Stacey, Marie, and Robert.

Robert was predeceased by his sister, Doris Bilodeau Ballas and her husband Theodore Ballas.

Robert was survived by his wife, Anne; and his daughter, Stacey Bilodeau-Curran and her children Marc and Ethan Curran of Lewiston; his daughter, Marie Curran, her husband Patrick Curran, and their children Ceina and Bethany Curran of Sabattus; and his son, Robert Bilodeau Jr. and his companion Jennifer Shaw, also of Lewiston.

Visiting hours will take place Saturday, Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. at Pinette Dillingham and Lynch Funeral Home located at 305 Alfred A Plourde Parkway in Lewiston. Online condolences may be shared at http://www.lychbrothers.com
