Bertram L. Jamison

NORRIDGEWOCK – Bertram L. Jamison, 88, died Tuesday Aug. 13, 2024, at his residence in Norridgewock. He was formerly of Mexico.

Bert was born in Freedom, on May 14, 1936, and was a son of Lester and Doris (Jackson) Jamison. He was a graduate of Mexico High School class of 1955. He worked in the Maintenance Dept for Boise Cascade Paper Mill in Rumford. He was a communicant of the Parish of The Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church and was a member of the Boise Cascade 25-year Club.

Bert was married in Dixfield, on Dec. 4, 1969, to Ethel Worthley who died in Rumford, on June 19, 1987.

He is survived by a son, Jeffrey Jamison and wife Crystal Treadwell of Mexico, daughters Debra Blaisdell and Margaret Montoya of Norridgewock, stepson, Paul Gravel and wife Kim of Mexico, stepdaughter, Deborah Campbell of Canton, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Bertram Jamison, II, a stepdaughter Michelle Gravel and a stepson John Gravel.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday Aug. 17, 2024, at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford. Interment will be in the Farrington Morton Cemetery in Mexico. Friends and family are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
