Some Maine politicians and political figures are using a misguided strategy to criticize candidates for not disclosing their presidential election votes. This tactic is a false choice fallacy, distorting the issue by presenting only two seemingly exclusive options.
Maine voters, known for being “split-ticket voters,” are discerning and not easily swayed by deceptive arguments. They understand that the political landscape offers a spectrum of possibilities rather than a binary choice, and they have the power to see through deceptive tactics.
Like Maine, people nationwide will vote for their own interests rather than be swayed by false information. Personally, I support President Trump and will also vote for Jared Golden for Congress.
This election is about choosing someone based on their actual track record and potential to make our country better. Endorsements from other politicians or knowing who someone else is voting for are not enough to earn my vote.
