We are here to give the spotlight to our diabetic friends. Belle is a 10 year old diabetic cat. She and her sister were surrendered to our shelter when her owner had to move and couldn’t take them along. Their owner was heartbroken and devastated but knew we would find them a loving new home.
Since their arrival, her sister has found a new and forever home, but Belle has had some obstacles come her way. A little bit about Belle: she loves being around humans. She’ll follow you wherever you go and will come running to you when you call her. She likes to talk…or at least she thinks she likes to. Whenever she meows, not a single sound comes out. She enjoys her wet food, treats and loves to take long naps under her blankets.

Nathan is our other diabetic cat. He is also Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) positive. Nathan found his way to our shelter as a stray with no owner to claim him. Just like Belle, he absolutely adores his humans and is so loyal, he won’t ever leave your side. He is vocal, gentle and is a total love bug. This big paw boy loves the company of adults, kids, other cats and dogs.
These two are not a bonded pair, and do not need to be adopted together, but we know there are some wonderful people out there who would instantly fall in love with these two and give them the life and care they deserve. If you’re interested in learning more about the kind of care Nathan or Belle needs, please call us to chat more about them. They will make the most wonderful addition to anyone’s home.
