Vance Child
DIXFIELD – Vance Child, 84, died unexpectedly in Manchester, on Sunday Sept. 8, 2024. He was a resident of Dixfield.
Vance was born in Rumford, on Nov. 10, 1939, and was a son of Edward and Bella (Trapanier) Child. He owned and operated Falls Taxidermy in Dixfield.
He is survived by his life partner Kathleen Crocker of Dixfield, sons, Tom Child and wife Pamela of Dixfield and Michael Child of Mexico, a daughter Francine Lavoie and husband David of Arundal and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Open House between 1 and 4 p.m., will be held on Sunday Nov. 10, 2024 at Falls Taxidermy. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, Rumford.
