Maverine R. Langelier
NAPLES, Fla. – It is a heavy heart we announce the passing of our mom, Maverine Roseltha Bennett Langelier on Sept. 7, 2024, at the age of 96. Born March 25, 1928, To Ernest Bennett and Hazel Perkins Bennett. She attended local schools in Auburn, and was a graduate of Edward Little High School with the class of 1946.
She met her future husband in first grade, and married Lawrence W. Langelier on Jan. 24, 1948. They were totally devoted to each other for 75 years before his passing in 2023. While raising their three children she was the bookkeeper for their family business.
They enjoyed camping with their family and friends, fishing and bowling. They were blessed to retire early and spent many years traveling in their motorhome and playing golf. She was so proud to have a hole in one, teasing dad a little as he never had one. They eventually bought a winter home in Naples, Florida. In 2020 they moved to Naples permanently.
Mom was predeceased by our loving dad, Larry, a son Steven R. Langelier, brother Gentry S. Bennett and his wife Louise, and nephew Ernest Bennett,
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Donald) Toussaint and their children, Amanda (Paulette) Greenfield, Jason and Chad Toussaint. Son, Craig (Pamela) Langelier and their daughters, Buffei and husband David Kempster, and Kristen Langelier. Steve’s daughter April Langelier along with her daughter Kloe Gizinski, and Steve’s son Tyler Langelier. Also, her nephew Jeffery (Lorraine) Bennett.
No more pain. No more missing our dad. Just joy and beauty. We will miss her wicked sense of humor.
