Jeanette I. Donahue
LIVERMORE – Jeanette I. Donahue, 73, a resident of Livermore, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024, at her home with her loving family by her side, after a long brave battle with Lewy Body Dementia. She was born June 27, 1951, in Lewiston, the daughter of Ezra Bryant and Clara (Gordon) Bryant. She grew up in Livermore, attended the local schools, where she would attend dances, get her GED and meet the love of her life, Lester. She worked for the Town of Livermore supervising teens mowing lawns, and cleaning up the local cemeteries, and packed eggs and apples locally. Jeanette later delivered Meals on Wheels for Seniors Plus. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, quilting and attending craft fairs. What she loved most was being a stay-at-home mom and being close to family and friends. She adored her grandchildren, went 4-wheeling, sightseeing, camping, and entertaining family and friends as they grew. She and Lester would have the “Donahue friends and family Christmas Party” that became a yearly tradition. She and Lester also traveled around the U.S. with their special friends, Jack, Georgianna, Linda, John and cat Maggie. The family would like to say a special thank you to her special caregiver, Alexis Jasper, who quickly became a part of the family. Andwell Hospice team which included Susan, Rachel and Christi. She is survived by daughter Kellie Donahue and partner Shawn Couture, sons, Kevin Donahue and partner Michelle Gardner and Kirk Donahue and wife Beth, grandchildren Lindsey Pulsifer and husband Donald, Brady Donahue, Mike Guay and wife Cassandra, Zach Donahue, Dustin Donahue and wife Michelle, Craig Smith and wife Corey, great-grandchildren, Nora, Roman, Jo-Jo, Harper, Spencer and Blair, Sterling and Lacie. She is predeceased by her parents, the love of her life Lester Donahue, their cat Maggie, many family and friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, September 26, at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Interment Lakeside Cemetery, Federal Road, Livermore.
