Nancy (Haggett) Trenholm
KINGFIELD – Nancy (Haggett) Trenholm, 89, went to be with her Lord on Sept. 21, 2024. Nancy was born on July 21, 1935, to Burton N. Haggett Sr. and Marjorie (Pearson) Haggett in Portland Maine. She graduated as an honor roll student, from Portland High School, on June 18, 1953. On Sept. 11, 1954, during Hurricane Edna, she married Norman S. Trenholm at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Portland. In 1955 she and Norman moved to Kingfield, and that is where they settled down and called home.
Nancy retired as Office Manager from Kingfield Wood Products after 23 years of employment. She was a member of the Kingfield Extension for several years. She also spent time as a Methodist youth group leader. Nancy operated a vegetable stand known as “Scrub Nubble Farm” with her husband Norman for many years.
Nancy is survived by her children, Bonnie and Colby Robinson, Beverly and Robert Moore, David and Crystal Trenholm, and Marjorie Trenholm all from Kingfield, and Natalie and Charles Twitchell of Northport; her grandchildren, Katie and David Clukey, Danielle and Ryan Vanier, Dorrie and Alex Dunham, David and Stephanie Trenholm II, Michael and Virginia Moore, Emmaline Andrews, Kristin Trenholm and fiancé John Geronaitis, Torin and Makelle Twitchell; her great grandchildren, Logan, Caleb, Adeline, Ani, Oscar, Greta, Audrey, Bowman, Bryson, Makayla Jade, and Braxton; her brother, Burton N. Haggett Jr and his son Matt; her sister-in-law, Linda Benincasa and brother-in-law, Richard Trenholm; and various nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 57 years, Norman Trenholm; her parents, Burton and Marjorie; and her “sister”, Marjorie Lowell.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Andwell Homecare and Hospice for taking such good care of Nancy.
Visiting hours will be held at Dan and Scott’s Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, located at 488 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington Maine, on Friday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a Funeral Service starting at 11 a.m. Immediately following the service, Nancy will be laid to rest at Sunnyside Cemetery in Kingfield.
