Suzanne Diane Morin
LEWISTON – Suzanne Diane Morin, 76, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully on Sept. 26, 2024, in her home with her loving grandson by her side.
She was born on Jan. 22, 1948, a daughter to Pauline and Normand Bolduc. She had one sister, Nancy Dumas and attended local schools, graduating from St. Dominic Regional High School in 1966.
In 1968, she married the love of her life, Ronald Morin, on June 29, 1968, at St. Peter’s Church. The two enjoyed many wonderful years together until his passing on Oct. 21, 2017.
She was a computer barrer at Fancy Stitchers for 34 years.
Suzanne had many hobbies and interests. She loved watching her grandchildren at their various sporting events and activities. She especially loved attending her granddaughter’s dance recitals and competitions. She was so proud of all of their accomplishments. In the summers, she enjoyed hanging out in her daughter’s pool. She also enjoyed playing games on her iPad while she watched her favorite TV shows and cuddled with her beloved dog, Brady. She was so proud of herself when she passed her daughter’s Candy Crush level.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Whitman and her husband Jeffery (Auburn); her grandchildren Brendan and Breya; her sister Nancy Dumas; as well as her niece Kim McManus, nephew Kevin Dumas; and her great nephew and niece Coady and Kianna.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ronald Morin.
Visitation for Suzanne will take place on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Fortin & Pinette Group Funeral Home on 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway in Lewiston, Maine 04240. A Liturgy of the Word will take place following the Visitation at 1 p.m., with Committal Prayers to follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Erikson, the nurses at the Cancer Care Infusion Center and especially Julie Booker for her care and compassion.
