Joseph Raymond Romeo Lepage
ENFIELD, Conn. – Joseph Raymond Romeo Lepage, 85, of Enfield, Conn., beloved husband of Muriel (Morin) Lepage, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, at Baystate Medical Center.
Born in Livermore Falls on July 26, 1939, he was the son of the late Bertrand and Fernande (Lussier) Lepage. He grew up in Livermore Falls before moving to East Hartford, Conn. and later settled in Enfield, Conn. where he raised his family.
After high school, Joseph honorably served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1964. He enjoyed a long career as a plumber at Pratt & Whitney, retiring in the early 2000s.
A jack-of-all-trades, Joseph was known for his skills in home projects and his deep love for his family and country. He loved to travel and in his last years spent much time completing his fill-in crossword puzzles. He was also a faithful communicant of St. Martha’s Roman Catholic Church in Enfield, Conn.
Joseph leaves behind his devoted wife of 57 years, Muriel C. Lepage of Enfield, Conn.; three children, Richard Lepage of Enfield, Conn., Peter Lepage and his wife Sokhoeun of Windsor, and Janice Lepage and her husband Jay Wood of Enfield, Conn.; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lepage, Christopher Lepage, Darien White, Riley Hansen, and Zachary Hansen; and eight great-grandchildren, Landon and Gabriella Lepage, Hunter and Tucker Sidway, Raydin and Chase Quinlan, and Davey and Hendrix Hansen.
His family will receive friends on Sunday, Oct. 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, Conn. A Mass of Roman Catholic Burial will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 11 a.m. at St. Martha’s Church, 214 Brainard Rd., Enfield, Conn., followed immediately with Military Honors Ceremony also to take place after Mass. Please meet directly at the church. Burial will be private at a later date.
