BERLIN, NH — St. Kieran Community Center for the Arts, along with series sponsors Bryant Funeral Homes and Eversource, are proud to present Tom’s Elton Tribute on Saturday, October 12. Tickets for the 7 p.m. show ($20 in advance/$25.00 at the door) are now available at https://www.stkieranarts.org/series.html, or for more information, please call the Arts Center at 603-752-1028.

The spectacular show includes “Bennie and the Jets,” “Tiny Dancer,” “Rocket Man,” “Candle In The Wind,” “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me,” “I’m Still Standing,” “Crocodile Rock” and “Your Song.” They will also be performing classic album tracks like “Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding” from Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, the multi-platinum double LP released in 1973.

Tom Cridland, playing the part of Elton John on lead vocals and piano, is close friends with Elton John drummer Nigel Olsson, and has recorded songs and episodes of his “Greatest Music of All Time” Podcast with Elton John guitarist Davey Johnstone… and has even met Sir Elton himself, the man who Tom credits with helping him recover from alcoholism.

Sir Elton John is a project that started in January 2022, after Tom learned piano during the Covid-19 lockdowns as a way of staying sober. By May 2023, he was performing to thousands of people and this year he’s been on tour in America with over 100 shows in US theatres. After serious alcoholism nearly destroyed it, Elton’s music and longtime drummer Nigel Olsson’s friendship helped turn Tom Cridland’s life around. In August, Nigel made a surprise return appearance at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, performing “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” with Tom Cridland.

The level of attention to detail in recreating the music and fabulous costumes of Elton John & His Band is simply unparalleled.
