Elizabeth “Liz” Textor
AUBURN – Elizabeth “Liz” Textor, 93, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2024, at the Clover Manor in Auburn. She was a resident of Auburn.
Liz was born in Rumford on June 8, 1931, the daughter of Urban and Myrtle (Easter) Lohnes. She was a graduate of Mexico High School class of 1949 and worked as a secretary for Depository Trust Company in Lewiston, the Accounting Dept at Radcliff Mitchell in Auburn and owned and operated The Wagon Wheel in Oxford.
Liz was married in Adelphia, N.J. on Feb. 2, 1952, to Walter Textor who died in Lewiston on Feb. 6, 2019.
She is survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Elsie Bowie, Jessie Comstock, Mary Knapp, Vaughn Libby, Olive Elliott, Flossie Rose, Irene Lohnes and Beryl Comstock, and a brother Urban Lohnes.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, at the Pineview Cemetery in Roxbury. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral home 3 Franklin St Rumford, Maine.
