Over 40 years ago, in Marine Corps boot camp, I swore an oath that doesn’t expire. To support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
I still, enthusiastically, honor that oath today.
The only candidate for state representative of Auburn and Minot who deserves my vote is Laurel Libby. She has sworn a similar oath to support the Constitution of the United States, and she has proven that she honors that oath. In my opinion, this is the highest responsibility of our representatives.
Our U.S. Constitution is under attack from all sides. I am confident that Laurel will stand against these attacks to preserve it. Citizens like her are few and far between.
Without hesitation, I will give her my vote this November. I will humbly recommend that people review her record and consider voting for her as well.
Dave Adams, Minot
