To the Editor:
Early voting in Maine has already begun, and the last day is November 5. Among other positions, we will be electing a Maine State Senator. If education, health care, worker’s rights, veteran’s and senior citizen’s issues, hunting and fishing rights, and other sportsmen’s activities are important to you, you couldn’t do better than voting in Bruce Bryant.
This, we can say with certainty because Bruce previously served as State Senator and State Representative and worked with positive results on these issues. So much so that he was endorsed by the Maine AFL-CIO, Maine Council of Senior Citizens, State Workers (MSEA-SEIU), Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine, and Maine League of Conservation Voters (75% rating).
Just this past week, he received the endorsement of the United Steelworkers. Bruce is hardworking, reliable, and pragmatic, committed to making Maine a better place to live.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
