Dan Arnold

TURNER – Dan Arnold passed away on Oct. 12, 2024, with his children by his side. Dan was a man who lived life to the fullest. He loved being outside in all weather: racing, snowmobiling, boating and tinkering with anything that had an engine. The two men that he most admired were Evil Knievel and Dale Earnhardt. Dan was passionate about auto racing and spent many Sundays with family and friends cheering on #3 and #8. Christmas was his favorite holiday, boy did he love to decorate!

Dan graduated from Leavitt Area High School in 1989. He was both an electrician and a mechanic. Although he enjoyed his work, fishing was his happy place. He was fortunate to grow up being surrounded by family and friends at the camp on Bear Pond.

Dan is survived by his parents, Barbara and Clifford (Kip) Arnold. Children, Lauren Paine (Nick), Lindsey Adams (Seth), Chelsea Shepherd (Paul), Courtney Whitney (Zach Bisbee) and Trevor Whitney (Courtney). Siblings Eileen Wisnewski (Michael) and David Arnold (Melanie). Grandchildren, Lola and Layla Paine, Weston Adams, Theodore Whitney, Jackson and Thomas Shepherd, and Wesley Bisbee. Nieces/nephews, Ben Richard, Rhiannon Arnold, Zach Sellner and Caitlin Pelletier.

A Celebration of Dan Open House will be held on Sunday, November 3, from 1-4 p.m., at the Victorian on Main, 230 Main Street, Norway.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Turner Rescue, CMMC or your favorite charity in memory of Dan.
