Like all Mainers, the voters of Senate District 20 face the most consequential election of our lifetimes. Our choices will impact not only local priorities for the immediate future, but also legislative majorities and Maine’s path forward for years ahead.
Bettyann Sheets lives and raised her children in Auburn. She ran a small business here for 17 years and knows firsthand what support matters most for parents striving to balance work and family. Her entire adult life has been dedicated to service — to her nation, community and state.
A West Point graduate, Black Hawk helicopter pilot and former platoon leader, Bettyann works tirelessly to strengthen support systems for veterans. As a state legislator she worked to increase school funding, create transitional housing for veterans and reduce the costs of health care. She expresses her deep faith by fighting for all neighbors.
