Richard Lee Jackson
WRENS, GA. – Richard Lee Jackson, 57, passed Monday, Oct. 21, 2024. Richard was a beloved figure whose deep love for family and friends touched the lives of many.
Richard was a true “Jack” of all trades, known for his exceptional work ethic and his unwavering commitment to seeing every task through to completion. He derived great joy from serving others and was always driven by the desire to bring happiness to those around him.
Richard is survived by his mother, Lela Mitchum, his father, Arthur Jackson; and daughter, Kristina Jackson. He was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren, Jacob Gerry, Cameron Gerry, and Kaitlyn Gerry.
In addition, Richard is survived by his brothers, Robert “Sam” Jackson and his wife Pam, his twin brother, Ronald Jackson and his wife Christina, and his brother, Arnold Jackson. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Richard’s generous spirit and dedication to his loved ones will be profoundly missed. As he is welcomed into the arms of his Father in heaven, his legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Richard has requested a private ceremony be held with family and friends at his favorite place in Maine, Saturday Pond, Otisfield, Maine.
