Robert Normand Marquis

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – Robert Normand Marquis, 68, son of Victor and Rita Marquis passed away at home on Oct. 27, 2024, after a long illness, surrounded by his family. He will be remembered for his kind heart and love for others, always greeting friends and family with warm hugs. Bob was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. The last 10 years they traveled Delray Beach, Fla. to spend the winters until his death.

Born on Dec. 28, 1955, in Lewiston, Bob was the youngest of four children, Richard Marquis, Diane Marquis Monaghan, Russel Marquis.

Bob graduated from Edward Little High School in 1974. Bob married Deborah Murphy and had two beautiful daughters, Jennifer and Cari. He worked at Tambrands P&G for 45 years in mechanical and leadership roles.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline; brothers Richard and Russel Marquis and sister, Diane Marquis Monaghan; daughter, Cari, husband Geoff Newson, stepson, Timothy Fortin and wife Mindy, stepdaughter, Angela Fortin; and grandchildren, Xander, Payton, Gabriel, Lyla, Aubrey, Lucas, Jada, and Reese.

Bob was predeceased by parents Victor and Rita Marquis; and daughter, Jennifer Debrah Marquis.

On Nov. 14, at 10 a.m. a celebration of life and church service will be held at Pathway Vineyard Church, 9 Foss Rd., Lewiston.
