Lilla A. Goldrup
GREENE – Lilla A. Goldrup, 90, a resident of Greene, died on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, at her home. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, a daughter, sister and a loyal friend to all. She was born May 11, 1934, in Leeds, the daughter of Lucien T. and Marion (Cronkhite) Philbrick. She attended Lewiston High School, graduating in 1952. At one point, she worked at the S.S. Kresge store in Lewiston. On Jan. 3, 1953, she married Alton C. Goldrup at Keene’s Corner Church. Mr. Goldrup passed away July 15, 2004. Lilla was a member of Androscoggin Grange #8 in Greene. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and working in her gardens. She is survived by her children, Jo-Anna Philbrick, Marion Goldrup, Alton C. Goldrup, Jr. and wife Holly and Clyde Goldrup and wife Vicki, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Novuko Philbrick, and many nieces and nephews. Lilla was predeceased by her parents, husband, Alton C. Goldrup, Sr., a sister, Luciena O’Connor, a brother, Clifton Philbrick and two grandchildren, Raymond L. Moreau, Jr and Jeanie Hallowell. Graveside services will be held at Leeds Plains Cemetery, Plains Road, Leeds, on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at 11 a.m. Arrangements under the care of BRAGDON-FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main Street, Monmouth.
