LEWISTON – Carol Ann LeRiche, 69, passed away on Nov. 25, 2024 in Lewiston.
She was born in Lewiston to Alfred and Blanche (Violette) LeRiche, the sixth of their 13 children. She was a happy child, but as she grew up, became apparent that she had special needs. She lived at Twenty-Four Old Lisbon Road (Spurwink), a group home with a wonderful caring staff where she was not only very happy but also very loved. She enjoyed social activities and community outings, particularly trips to the beach. But nothing made her happier than listening to oldies music, especially Elvis Presley, while relaxing in her recliner.
She is survived by her six sisters, Gail and her husband James McCourt of Woolwich, Nancy Stern of Cape Neddick, Karen LeRiche and her wife Lorna Littleway of Copake, N.Y., Debra LeRiche of Folsom, Calif., Catherine and her husband Daniel Boutin of Auburn, and Cynthia LeRiche of Folsom, Calif. Additionally, she is survived by her four brothers, Steven LeRiche and his husband Chuck Austin of North Adams, Mass., Michael LeRiche of Lewiston, Jeffrey LeRiche and his wife Judy of Burlington, N.C., and James LeRiche and his wife Laurie of Albany, Ore. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews; along with numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her sister, Eileen Garroway (2019), her brother, Brian (2017); and her parents.
