Fumiko Whitehouse
MEXICO – Mrs. Fumiko Whitehouse, 102, died Monday Jan. 6, 2025, at the Hospice House in Auburn. She was a resident of Mexico.
Fumiko was born in Japan on June 16, 1922, and was a daughter of Hirokichi and Yone Yamaguchi. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, crocheting and ceramics.
Fumiko was married in Japan on Sept. 3, 1954, to Lawrence Whitehouse who died in Mexico on March 20, 2005.
She is survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday Jan. 13, at the Meader and Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford. Interment in the spring will be in the Farrington Morton Cemetery in Mexico. Friends and family are invited to call at the funeral home from 11-1 p.m., prior to the funeral.
