Jean E. (O’Shura) Dillman
AUBURN – Jean E. (O’Shura) Dillman, 89, of Sabattus, and formerly of Bridgton, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, at Clover Manor. She was the wife of Earl N. Dillman.
She was born in Girardville, Pa. on Nov. 13, 1935, a daughter of the late Albert and Alexandra “Alice” (Zembas) O’Shura. She grew up in Girardville, Pa. attending local area schools and graduated from Girardville High School.
Jean was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She loved cooking and baking for her family, gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jean enjoyed reading and never turned down an opportunity to play cards with family and friends.
For 22 years Jean volunteered as an instructor for exercise classes at the Bridgton Community Center.
Jean was a devout Catholic, prayer was an important part of her daily life.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, Kimberly Campbell and her husband Dean of S. Kingston, R.I., Christopher Dillman and his wife Nicole of Lewiston, and Bradford Dillman and his wife Mary of Wales. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Cody, Ian, Cameron, Graham, Audrey, Emily, Nathan; and a great-grandson Abel.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary, 131 High St., Sabattus.
