MECHANIC FALLS – Marie C. Williams, 79, passed away Saturday January 11, 2025, in Mechanic Falls. Marie Constance Begin, also known as “Mary” was born Dec. 26, 1945, in Livermore Falls, at her parents’ home, William Begin and Mary (Therrien) Begin. She attended school in Maine. On June 1, 1968, she married Charles Richard Williams at Conway Center Town Hall Office, in Conway New Hampshire. Mary was a housewife and mother of two children. She enjoyed western country music, bingo, going to the casino, dancing, and traveling with her husband. She is survived by her son Charles R. Williams II and wife Jennifer of New York, daughter Tammy Lynn Terwilliger and husband Alan of Poland, grandchildren Kayla Heikkinen, and Charles Williams III, two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Emily, many nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased by her parents, husband Charles, sisters Irene Rose Pratt, Joanne Packard, Louise Gueziet, and Jeanette Bryant, brothers Wilfred Begin, and Billy Begin. A service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 18, at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation will be held 9-11 a.m., prior to the service. Interment at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery, 445 Park Street, Livermore Falls.
