Peggy Holland

LEWISTON – Peggy Holland, 68, of Buckfield, passed away peacefully on Jan. 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born on Oct. 31, 1956, in Lewiston, to Frederick and Merlene (Thomas) Greenwood.

She is survived by her children: Jennifer Lowell-Hussey and her daughters, Payton French and husband Tyler, and their three children Harper, Bryce, and Landyn; and Reilly Day and husband Tyler, and son Rhett; Thomas Lowell; and Lindsay Youland and husband Brody and their two children, Hudson and Charlotte (Honey). She is also survived by her siblings, Kathryn King and husband Neal and their three children, Harold, Richard, and Katie; Fred Greenwood and wife Rebekah and their three children Laura, Carolyn, and Aubrie; and Cynthia Scott and husband Glen and their two children Cody and Cassie. Further, she is survived by her three stepchildren Darci, Jason, and Dawn and her children Aubrey and Colton.

She was predeceased by her husband, Tom, whom she missed dearly; her parents, Frederick and Merlene Greenwood; Lindsay’s father, Stewart Henderson, whom she always maintained a friendly and caring relationship with, and most recently, her beloved dog, Izzy.

Peggy’s warmth, humor, and devotion to her family and friends will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

A funeral service will be held on Jan. 19, 2025, at Buckfield Jr-Sr High School. Visiting hours will begin at 11 a.m., with the service at 1 p.m.
