Kenneth G. Pease Jr.
BETHEL – Kenneth “Peasie” G. Pease Jr., 82, of Bethel, died peacefully Saturday evening, Jan. 11, 2025, with family present. He was born in Thomaston, Maine July 30, 1942, the son of Kenneth G. Pease and Martha Pease (Luce). He graduated from Gould Academy in 1960. He worked several jobs before settling into a career in the railroad industry until his retirement.
In 1968 he married Jean Bartholomew. They had one son, Kenneth T. Pease, “KP”. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed his walks on Lovers Lane. He was an avid collector of many things, most notably golf balls with unique insignias and markings that he would find at the golf course across the street.
“Peasie” is survived by his son Ken Pease, “KP” of Albany; three sisters, Diane Jacques of Palm Harbor, Fla., Linda A. Bonney and fiancée Paul Halle of Bethel, Pamela Pease Henry of Ireland, brother-in-law, Steven Pratt of South Paris; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Martha; sisters Sandra Pease and Brenda Pratt.
The family would like to thank the staff Stephens Memorial Hospital and Andwell Health Partners and Hospice for their excellent care in his last days.
Family and friends may call at the Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation service, 45 Main St., South Paris on Sunday, Jan. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Spring interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Bethel.
