Rene G. Lavoie
LEWISTON – Rene G. Lavoie passed away on Jan. 18, 2025, in Lewiston at CMMC Hospital. Rene was born June, 27, 1951, the son of Albert J. and Florence (Bergeron) Lavoie.
Rene worked for the Lewiston Public Works for 35 years, and enjoyed roller skating, dancing, music and DJing.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Normand, Giles, Donald and his wife Ann.
Surviving are his son David and granddaughter Vanessa Lavoie, David’s girlfriend Bernadette Morse, and her children, Sabrina Morse and her fiance Douglas Hunnewell, and her son Dale Denbow Jr. Also are Rene’s girlfriend of 22 years Claudette Dionne, three sisters, Denise and husband Jerry Leger, Elize and husband Charles Pelletier and Claudette and husband Raymond Gagnon.
