PORTLAND – Matteo M. Villacci, born Jan. 6, 2025, passed away peacefully at Maine Medical Center on Jan. 7, 2025 surrounded by love.
Matteo is survived by his parents, Anthony Villacci and Alyssa Thayer. He is also survived by his siblings Frank, Emma, Kinsley and his twin brother, Leo; grandparents; Polly Robinson, Bernard Hewey, Beth Robinson, Alan Waterhouse, Cameron Robinson and Joanne Robinson, Earl Timmons, Arlene Marshall Sandra Villacci; uncles Dominic Villacci and Vito Villacci, aunts Kallie Robinson, Theresa Buttler and Melissa Evans; along with many cousins. Matteo is also survived by his camp family.
Matteo was predeceased by his grandparents, Glenna Hewey, Winfield Robinson, Frank Villacci and Elizabeth Timmons; uncles Kirk Robinson and Robert Fitzcharles Jr.
The family would like to thank Maine Medical Center and Matteo’s nurse, Kayli, as well as Shelby, for the care, compassion and love shown during this difficult process.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
