Marlene E. Racine

LEWISTON – Marlene E. Racine, 81, of Lewiston, died peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, at Clover Health Care with her loving family by her side following a long illness.

She was born on August 13, 1943, in Lewiston, Maine. She is the daughter of George St. Clair and Jeanette (Dion) St. Clair. She was educated in Lewiston parochial schools, attended St. Dominic Regional High School in the Class of 1961 and was employed for 35 years at the St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

Marlene’s smile and sense of humor will always be a reminder of the beautiful person she was.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Racine of Lewiston and enjoyed 62 years of marriage together. She had three beautiful children, Cheryl Shaw and husband Marty of Oxford, Mass., Michael Racine and wife Michelle of Lewiston, and John Racine and wife Donna of Monmouth. She is also survived by her brother George St. Clair, Jr. and wife Pauline of Lewiston; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Clover and Andwell Health partners for their care and support of Marlene.

A Funeral Mass honoring Marlene’s life will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, from 4 – 7 p.m.at The Fortin & Pinette Group 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway in Lewiston, 784-4023.
