Jean C. Pettengill

LEEDS – Jean C. Pettengill, 67, passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, following a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Jean was born March 6, 1957, in Farmington, the daughter of Laurence R. Cook and Joan (Bryant) Cook. She was a 1975 graduate of Mt. Blue High School. On March 12, 1977, she married Bruce A. Pettengill in Farmington.

Jean worked at TD Bank in finance and in the family business, Pettengill Printing. She was a member of Maine Co Op, EXT of Leeds. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, camping, watching sports, and spending her time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce, of Leeds; son, Jeremy Pettengill and wife, Martina, of Livermore; two grandchildren, Everett and Vivien Pettengill; two sisters, Patricia Pinkham and husband, Randall, of Farmington, Shana Carr and husband, Eric, of Henderson, Nev.; mother-in-law, Shirley Pettengill, of Leeds; and many nieces and nephews.

Jean was predeceased by her parents.

A graveside service will be held at a later date. Interment at Leeds Center Cemetery, in Leeds. Arrangements made by Finley Funeral Home, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls.
