Dale Armand Joseph Buteau
LEWISTON – Dale Armand Joseph Buteau, 52, of Wales, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 2, 2025. Dale was born on Oct. 18, 1972, in Lewiston to Anita Lucille Buteau and Armand Joseph Buteau
Dale was a family man that wasn’t afraid of hard work. He was self employed for the majority of his life doing steel removal and fabrication. He was very well known in the community and would constantly go out of his way for others. When Dale was not working you would catch him at his children and grandchildrens sporting events, fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, or hanging out with friends and family. With Dale, family and others always came first. His positive attitude would also brighten up the darkest of rooms and could make anyone smile. Dale will truly be missed by all his family and friends, but also the community that he gave so much to.
He is loved by his wife of 25 years, Crystal Dawn Buteau, with whom they had three children, Levi Buteau (partner Thea Langelier), Danny Buteau (wife Savannah Buteau) and Zoe Buteau (fiancé Kyle LaRoche); and his mother Anita Buteau and father Armand Buteau (predeceased), who also had five other children, Pauline Sawyer, Diane Parent, Lise Buteau (predeceased), Tina Foster (husband Robert Foster), and Daniel Buteau. Dale had four grandchildren Neva Buteau, Keegan Buteau, Kyle LaRoche Jr, and Wrenley Buteau.
Visitation will be held on Friday Feb. 14 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. & 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at The Fortin & Pinette Group 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston.
Dale will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but on this day we want to leave you with his famous quote, “ have a marvelous day”
