Suppers

NORWAY — Give the cook at your house a night off. Come to the First Universalist Church of Norway, 479 Main St., on Saturday, February 22, at 5:30 p.m. for a delicious dinner and an affordable night out for the whole family. Adults $10. Children 12 years and under $5. Take-outs will be available. This year our traditional ham and bean supper will also include hotdogs and chips for the kids. Also on the menu will be brown bread, coleslaw, homemade pie, brownies, and beverages.

CASCO — The Casco Village Church, United Church of Christ will host our “Soup, Chili, Chowder” Supper on Saturday, February 22 from 4:30-6 p.m. This month’s dinner will feature soup, chili, chowder, salads, breads, & desserts. It’s only $12 for adults, and $5 for children 8 and under. Please come join us. The church is located at 941 Meadow Rd. in Casco. The church may be contacted at 207-627-4282.

Fossils

HARRISON — Deborah Johnson of the Maine Mineral & Gem Museum will present “Fossils of Maine” on Wednesday, February 19, at 4 p.m. at Harrison Village Library. All ages are welcome to attend, from children to adults. We’ll see a slideshow of fossils found in Maine and discuss how they’re formed; learn about Mary Anning, an English fossil collector and paleontologist; and end with a fossil activity for children.
