BUCKFIELD – Daniel R. Aubut passed away peacefully on Jan. 14, 2025, following a sudden decline due to a terminal illness.
Born in Lewiston on Dec. 29, 1959, Dan attended Lewiston schools. He was the owner of The Grateful Earth gift shop for many years and a dedicated member of the community.
Dan was a passionate music lover who taught himself to play the guitar at an early age, developing a deep appreciation for the Grateful Dead. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed collecting Native American artifacts, camping, and hiking. Above all, Dan cherished his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tracy; his eldest daughter, Erica, and her husband Ryan, and their children, Kayden and Kendra; his youngest daughter, Jenny, and her son, Ethan; his sister, Tina, and her son, Christopher; along with many dear cousins and lifelong friends.
“Fare you well, fare you well, I love you more than words can tell. Listen to the river sing sweet songs. To rock my soul.” -Grateful Dead
