Stanley E. Kuvaja
NORWAY – Stanley E. Kuvaja, 68, of Greenwood passed away on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, at Stephens Memorial Hospital with family by his side.
He was born in Norway on Sept. 26, 1956, the son of Eino and Marie Birney Kuvaja. He graduated from Telstar High School in 1975. In his younger years he played baseball.
He was a dairy farmer, working on the farm. He was hardworking, generous and kind.
Stanley is survived by his siblings Susan (Wade) Kimball, Sharon (Stan) Morse, Tim (Kris) Kuvaja, Steve (Becky) Kuvaja, Sandra Kuvaja, Mary Field and partner Ed Palmer and Fred Kuvaja; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
His family wishes thank the staff at MaineHealth, Norway Rehabilitation, Market Square Health Care Center and Andwell Health Partners.
Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Finnish Cemetery in West Paris, time and date to be announced.
