Joseph Salatino
RUMFORD – Mr. Joseph Salatino, 85, died Tuesday Jan. 21, 2025 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
Joseph was born in Rumford on Feb. 14, 1939, to Vito and Teresa (Papasadora) Salatino. He was a graduate of Stephens High School class of 1957 and served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1957 to 1961. He worked as a parts delivery driver. His favorite job was teaching the kids how to drive in his mustang. He also had an amazing sense of humor and loved the ladies.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Taylor of Lewisville, Texas; and a sister, Julie Salatino of Rumford.

A Mass of Christian Burial along with his brother, James, will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday May 17, at the Parish of The Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church, 126 Maine Ave., Rumford. Friends and family are invited to call at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St, Rumford on Friday May 16, from 6 to 8 p.m.
