DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Heywood Club on Crockett Ridge in Norway is going to be selling 200 calendars at $10 each. This will be a Spring Garden Calendar with most daily drawings related to gardening. We will also be including several Dollar Days with values from $25 to $100.

We are having this extra fundraiser to help cover the cost of replacing the main beam on the back side of the club, which has finally given way to age. The construction of the building was finished in 1907 and has lasted all these years, but now time has taken its toll.

We help our neighborhood and community in several ways, such as giving a $1,200 donation to the Dominic Dumont Scholarship Fund from our Lights of Love fundraiser this past December.

If you would like a calendar, please call Barbara Townsend at 890-2103 or Beth Abbott at 461-2334. And please do not forget our Seven Mile Yard Sale that will be held Saturday, June 14. We already have some great items for this year’s sale. — No name, Norway

ANSWER: The Heywood Club is the oldest organization in Norway and is loved and respected for all the work it does to help the community. They are known for the Lights of Love Christmas fundraiser, their magnificent summer yard sale, and so much more. Check them out and participate in their good deeds!

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Two years ago, I watched a show on Mondays that was on Channel 62, TLC. It was about a married couple and had a lot of drama. Their names were Chantel and Pedro. For the life of me, I can’t remember the name of the show. They have now broken up and are divorced.

Chantel got a new boyfriend who stars in another show like what “90 Day Fiancé” is. I don’t remember what that show is. Please give me any updates on this. You are always so helpful. — No name, Lewiston

ANSWER: The name of this show was “The Family Chantel.” You are right, Pedro Jimeno and Chantel Everett are now divorced and sold their home. Pedro is focusing on his real estate career with LD Realty Group in Norcross, Georgia. He shares clips and photos of the houses he flips and participates in podcasts, talking about his business mindset.

Chantel is living in Sandy Springs, Georgia, near Pedro’s office. She’s exploring new relationships and has even been to Greece to find love.

The couple did have a lot of drama in their life because of miscommunication and different views on finances, family interference, and more. I hope you are moving on to viewing a show that is more uplifting!
