MOUNT VERNON – Teneitra, known as “Tee” or “Bucky” as well, lost her battle on March 18, 2025, surrounded by family, following a long illness.
Daughter of Marc and Terry (Gilbert) Grenier, Teneitra grew up in Lewiston, attending Monmouth schools. In her younger years she enjoyed soccer, softball, hunting with her Dad, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, ice fishing with her Uncle Rock, whatever she was doing, it was full throttle.
As a teenager she started working at Litchfield Country Cafe and over many years there she made lifelong friendships. She then worked to receive her certificate as a dental assistant and licensed in dental x-ray, which she loved.
Her proudest achievement in life was raising her amazing children, Asialina and Remington Rock. She enjoyed being involved with Asia’s cheering, soccer and softball in her younger years and then watching her receive her bachelor’s degree in psychology a year early. She spent countess hours with her son Remington and fiancé Lee at various motorcross tracks and mud runs with their “pit crew”.
She was a force to be reckoned with, never taking “no” for an answer, a no-fear attitude with anything that she did. Her aggressive nature for life and love will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her parents, Marc and Terry Grenier of Moose River; fiancé Lee Allen of Mount Vernon; daughter, Asialina Guenette (Ryan Bellmore) of Lewiston, son, Remington Smith-Grenier of Mount Vernon and Greene; also, Lee’s children, Alisha Bowie of Bath and Elli Mae Allen of Buckfield; one sister, Erika Grenier (Jeshua McKay) and her children Charlie and Hudson Dufour of Winthrop. Too many amazing aunts, uncles and cousins to list; godfather, Rock Grenier, her favorite; her beloved pit bull and best friend, Handsome Maverick.
Predeceased by maternal grandparents, Laurent and Germaine Gilbert, paternal grandparents, Earl and Lucille Grenier; uncle, Dennis St. Hilaire, aunt, Bernadette Adkins; and cousin, Brooke Grenier.
Visitation will be on Sunday March 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a Liturgy of the Word to follow at 2 p.m. at The Fortin & Pinette Group 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a memorial for her children. Donations for their future would be greatly appreciated. Checks can be made payable to
