DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Andwell Hospice Program is looking for volunteers to sing in our choir. We bring music to elders in the Lewiston-Auburn area who live in nursing facilities.
The choir gets together Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. at various facilities where we engage the residents with singing and using simple musical instruments.

There will be over 20 tables with vendors, crafts, jewelry, a bake sale, other foods and a food truck or two.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: In the summer of 1998, I worked for a medical company near Auburn airport for three months. They made surgical trays for local hospitals. I can’t remember the name of this place and don’t know if it was bought out or relocated. Can anyone help me with this information? — No name, Lewiston
ANSWER: I’m not positive but it could be Symmetry Surgical that was later acquired by Aspen Surgical. I’d love to hear from other folks who were employed at the company this reader is inquiring about. Let me know if I’m right!
